Our story
Love It Local Events has been bringing concerts, festivals, talks and family events to Dorset since 2021.
What began with a Christmas concert in Wareham has grown into a varied programme of events featuring internationally acclaimed musicians, broadcasters, authors, comedians and performers, alongside community festivals that celebrate the best of Dorset.
Over the years, our events have included appearances by Joseph Calleja, Michael Portillo, Chris Packham, Toyah, Hal Cruttenden, Neil Brand, Juan Martín, Carlos Bonell and many more. We have also organised popular local events including the Corfe Castle Food & Drink Festival, Summer Nights at the Castle, the Purbeck Guitar Festival and the Wareham Saxon Festival.
Many of our events have supported good causes, helping to raise funds and awareness for organisations including the Red Cross, Birds of Poole Harbour, Dorset Wildlife Trust, the Fine Foundation Wild Seas Centre and local community charities.
Today, Love It Local Events continues to bring high-quality entertainment and memorable experiences to audiences across Dorset. As part of Love It Local Ltd, we also publish Love It Local Magazine and operate local tourism and community websites that help connect residents and visitors with the very best our area has to offer.
