Illuminate at The Blue Pool
10 January – 22 February | Evenings
Step into a magical winter wonderland at Illuminate 2026 at The Blue Pool Nature Reserve. This after-dark illuminated trail transforms woodland pathways with stunning lighting displays, vibrant colours and atmospheric music.

100 Years of Laurel & Hardy with Neil Brand
A Love It Local Event
1 February | Rex Cinema, Wareham
Celebrate a century of one of comedy’s most iconic double acts with Neil Brand — world-renowned expert on silent film and silent comedy. Fully illustrated with clips, stills and live piano accompaniment, this promises laughter from start to finish.

Railway 200 Exhibition at Swanage Railway
16–18 February | Corfe Castle Station

Historical Guided Walk with Cream Tea – Brownsea Castle
Dates from 17 March
Explore the rich history of Brownsea Island on a guided walk that brings the island’s fascinating past to life. This popular lecture series offers engaging talks on art, archaeology, history and local heritage, presented by expert speakers in an accessible, friendly format. Perfect for curious minds during the winter months.
Voices of Spring
21 February | St Peter’s Church, Church Knowle
Welcome the changing season with an evening of beautiful live vocal music from two outstanding young singers with local roots. A special concert in a stunning historic setting, supporting the Friends of St Peter’s Church.
Charity Vinyl Night – Supporting Wareham Town Museum
27 February | Wareham Town Hall
Enjoy classic vinyl from the 60s, 70s and 80s in a relaxed, nostalgic evening of music — all in support of exciting plans for Wareham Town Museum. Bring your own drinks, enjoy a raffle and support a great local cause.
Wareham Carnival Spring Fair

A cheerful morning of stalls, crafts, tea, cake and community spirit, raising funds for Wareham Carnival 2026. A great family-friendly event supporting one of the town’s most loved celebrations.
