Tie a Yellow Ribbon 2026 – A Special Day of Remembrance at Poole Park
Join Forest Holme Hospice for their much-loved annual Tie a Yellow Ribbon memorial event at Poole Park on Saturday 13 June, from 12pm to 3pm.
This free community afternoon offers a beautiful opportunity to remember, reflect on, and celebrate the lives of loved ones in a peaceful and supportive setting. Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you have a connection to Forest Holme Hospice.
Visitors are invited to write a personal dedication and tie a yellow ribbon in memory of someone special. Following the event, the ribbons are carefully returned to the hospice grounds, where they remain on display throughout the summer as a lasting tribute.
Alongside this meaningful act of remembrance, there will be plenty for families and visitors to enjoy, including local craft stalls, live choir performances, refreshments, and free children’s activities.
Can’t Attend in Person?
You can still take part by making a donation online and sharing your dedication. A volunteer will lovingly write your message on a tag and tie it to a yellow ribbon on your behalf during the event. Make a donation online now.
