Three magical candlelit evenings in November
This November, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care will bring communities across Dorset together for three special Candles of Remembrance evenings — offering a chance to remember and celebrate someone special.
Each event will feature beautiful candlelight, live music and the opportunity to dedicate a candle in memory of a loved one. Visitors can make a donation and add a personal message to the illuminated display.
The evenings also raise vital funds to help Lewis-Manning Hospice Care continue providing free care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, and their families and carers, across Dorset.
🕯️ Candles on the Green – Wimborne Minster
Saturday 14 November | 6pm–8pm
A peaceful evening of candlelight and remembrance at the beautiful Wimborne Minster.
🕯️ Candles by the Sea – Swanage Bandstand
Thursday 19 November | 5.30pm–7pm
Join the community beside the sea in Swanage for an evening of music, memories and candlelight.
🕯️ Candles on the Quay – Poole Quay
Thursday 26 November | 4pm–8pm
Poole Quay will be transformed by candlelight as families and friends come together to remember loved ones.
