Swanage Town Band Summer Concerts
Enjoy a summer evening of live music with the Swanage Town Band at the beautifully restored Swanage Bandstand.
The band has a packed programme of music to entertain audiences of all ages, featuring everything from show tunes and film scores to jazz favourites, Queen classics and Beatles hits. Whether you’re a regular concertgoer or simply looking for a relaxing evening by the sea, there’s something for everyone.
Bring a picnic, a deckchair or a blanket and soak up the summer atmosphere while enjoying fantastic live music in one of Swanage’s most scenic locations.
Concerts are free to attend, with collections taken in support of local charities. Last year, the band raised nearly £2,000 towards funding Dementia Friendly Purbeck’s second Admiral Nurse.
Summer Concert Dates
- Wednesday 8 July – 7:00pm
- Wednesday 29 July (Swanage Carnival Week) – 7:00pm
- Wednesday 26 August – 7:00pm
Venue: Swanage Bandstand, Swanage Seafront
Wet Weather Venue: If weather conditions prevent an outdoor performance, the concert will take place at Swanage Methodist Church, starting 30 minutes later than advertised.
