Celebrate National Marine Week with a fun-filled family adventure at the beautiful Kimmeridge Bay on Saturday 1 August.
Hosted by the Dorset Wildlife Trust’s Wild Seas Centre, the Kimmeridge Seashore Challenge invites young explorers to discover the incredible wildlife living along one of Dorset’s most famous stretches of the Jurassic Coast.
Are you a crab, a starfish or an octopus? Complete a series of exciting seashore challenges and activities to earn your marine-themed award while learning all about the fascinating creatures that call Kimmeridge Bay home.
To take part, simply hire a Seashore Explorer Pack, which includes everything you’ll need to complete the challenge and make the most of your visit.
Perfect for families, this hands-on event is a fantastic way to encourage children to explore the coast, discover marine life and enjoy the great outdoors during the summer holidays.
The challenge takes place from 1pm to 4.30pm on Saturday 1 August.
