Get into the Christmas spirit with the Forest Holme Merry Mile in Branksome on Sunday 6 December 2026. Starting at 11am from Branksome Dene Room, this fun one-mile festive event heads down to Branksome Chine Beach and back. You can run, walk, skip or dance your way around the route, with Christmas fancy dress encouraged. Hot Radio will be providing the festive soundtrack, and dogs are welcome too!
There’s also a special treat for younger participants, with children aged 15 and under invited to visit Santa’s Grotto at the finish. Entry includes a festive hat, hot drink and mince pie, with family tickets and Santa’s Grotto options available. There’s no minimum fundraising target, but participants can raise sponsorship to support the vital work of Forest Holme Hospice, which provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care to local people and their families.
