You loved Hal Cruttenden.
Now we’ve got two fantastic new comedy events lined up for later this year.
Remember back in March? When Hal Cruttenden graced our stage in Wareham, officially proving that middle-aged rants and posh indignation are the secret to a perfect night out?
We’re still recovering from the laughter (and the wine sales that kept our friends at the Wareham Rotary Club busy and helped raise money for local charities). It was a sell-out, and frankly, a hard act to follow.
But here at Love It Local Events, we don’t know how to quit while we’re ahead. So, we’ve decided to keep the comedy train rolling this autumn at The Purbeck School Theatre.
🎤 Saturday 24 October: The Viral Maestro, Dominic Frisby
- Venue: The Purbeck School, Wareham
- Date: Saturday 24th October
- Doors Open: 6:30 pm
- Start Time: 7:30 pm
If you’ve spent any time on the internet, you’ve heard him. From the chart-topping “17 Million Eff Offs” to his viral hit “We’re All Far Right Now,” Dominic Frisby is the man who turned political satire into a high-speed sport.
Joined by the brilliant jazz pianist Chad Lelong, Dominic is bringing his sharp, libertarian wit to Wareham. It’s music, it’s mockery, and it’s arguably the most “refreshing” take on modern Britain you’ll hear all year.

🎤 Friday 14 November: The Comedian’s Comedian, Jo Caulfield
- Venue: The Purbeck School, Wareham
- Date: Saturday 14th November
- Doors Open: 6:30 pm
- Start Time: 7:30 pm
If you think you know Jo, you probably do—you’ve likely seen her stealing the show on Have I Got News For You, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, or just about every major panel show in the UK.
She isn’t just a “TV face,” though; she was literally voted “Comedians’ Comedian of the Year” by her peers. That’s the industry equivalent of a gold medal in being hilarious. Razor-sharp, brilliantly crafted, and gloriously cynical, Jo is widely regarded as one of the finest comics working today. You do not want to miss this.
