Lewis Manning Candlelit Evenings in November
Three Dorset communities will come together this November for a series of beautiful candlelit evenings hosted by Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, offering local people the chance to remember and celebrate someone special.
The charity’s annual Candles of Remembrance events will take place in Wimborne, Swanage and Poole, with each evening featuring a stunning display of candlelight, live music and opportunities to dedicate a candle in memory of a loved one.
Visitors can make a donation to dedicate a candle and write a personal message, which will become part of the illuminated display. Local choirs and bands will perform throughout the evenings, while light refreshments will also be available.
As well as creating a special opportunity for remembrance, the events raise vital funds for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, helping the charity continue to provide free care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and carers, across Dorset.
The 2026 Candles of Remembrance events are sponsored by Care South.
