What's on this Autumn and Winter at The Duke, Wareham
Advertorial
There’s plenty coming up at The Duke this autumn and winter, with new themed food nights, regular quizzes and open mic nights, as well as some bigger events planned for Halloween and November.
Something different every month
The Duke will be holding a different food-themed night every month on a Saturday, with a selection of dishes and sides available for a set price.
Upcoming themed evenings are:
10 October – Wellington Night
8 November – Pie Night
Each evening will feature a selection of different flavours of ribs, Wellingtons or pies, accompanied by a variety of sides. Full menus and prices will be posted on The Duke’s social media nearer the time.
There will also now be a quiz night every other Sunday, while the popular open mic night will continue on the third Sunday of every month.
Halloween at The Duke

On 31 October, The Duke will be holding its Halloween Party, with fancy dress, prizes for the best dressed, special Halloween cocktails and drinks, and live music and FREE BUFFET!
Normal dinner service will run until 7.45pm, with the party taking place from 8pm until late.
Keeping the garden going through winter

There is a new outdoor bar area which we will continue running through the winter.
The plan is to serve seasonal drinks including mulled wine and mulled cider, accompanied by the warmth of the outdoor log burner.
All of The Duke’s outdoor booths are heated too, helping to make the garden a versatile space throughout the seasons.
Robbie’s Roasts

The famous Robbie’s Roasts will continue every Sunday from 12pm-3pm.
Booking is advised as the Sunday roasts are extremely popular – something reflected in recent customer reviews, with diners praising the food, generous portions, service and friendly staff. One recent visitor described their roast as “absolutely fantastic”, while another gave the food, service and welcome 10/10.
A Great Gatsby Party
Another big night is planned for 28 November, when The Duke will be transformed for a Great Gatsby Party.
Guests are encouraged to dress in Gatsby or black-tie style for an evening featuring live jazz, canapés and a special cocktail menu.
The event will be ticketed at £15 per person, which includes food and a glass of Prosecco on arrival.
